Muhammad is a very important person for Muslims. This is why Muslims often say “peace be upon him” (PBUH) after mentioning his name, to show respect.

He was born in the city of Mecca over 1,400 years ago, in what is now Saudi Arabia. Muslims believe that Muhammad was chosen by God to be a prophet and to deliver a special message, which became the religion of Islam.

Muhammad taught people about God’s love, mercy, and guidance, and he spread messages of peace, justice, and compassion. He cared deeply for the poor, the sick, and the needy, and encouraged others to do the same.

Muslims look up to Muhammad as an example of how to live a good and righteous life. They respect him as the last and final prophet sent by God and try to follow his teachings by being kind, honest, and helpful to others.
