GCSE topic:

After Jesus' death and resurrection, his followers, known as the apostles, spread his teachings and the message of Christianity. They travelled to different places, telling people about Jesus and his teachings of love, forgiveness, and salvation.

Despite facing challenges and persecution, more and more people were inspired by Jesus' message. As time went on, Christianity grew and spread to different parts of the world. In the early years, it was mostly spread by word of mouth and through personal interactions. Later, with the invention of the printing press, the Bible (the holy book of Christianity) was printed and made more widely available. This allowed people to read and learn about Jesus' teachings on their own. Over the centuries, missionaries travelled to faraway lands to share the good news of Jesus, resulting in Christianity becoming a global religion. Today, Christianity is one of the largest religions in the world, with millions of followers who gather in churches to worship, learn from the Bible, and live out the teachings of Jesus.
